This LandCruiser is one that I’ve wanted since I was a kid, Blue is my favourite colour and I remember asking my dad when I was young why he didn’t buy a Blue LandCruiser instead of the Red one (Which I still have).

Both the Red and the Blue HJ60 were built in 09/1984, and the chassis number is 80 apart from the red HJ60, so most likely made in the same week.

This Blue HJ60 was sold in 2022 from the long term second owner. I missed it at the time, but left my number and one day I got a phone call to say the guy who’d bought it was going to sell it to buy another 60 series (An SS150! - # 50/50!)

So far, I've done a few things, including:

- Factory Front Bumper
- Wheels & Tyres
- Brand New Genuine Toyota Chrome Mouldings for the Roof Gutters
- Brand New Genuine Toyota 76 Series Black Mirrors
- Fitted NOS Tail Light Assemblies (Left & Right) + Fitted New Indicator / Parker Lenses.
- Woodgrain Nardi Steering Wheel + HKB Boss Kit
- Removed Rear drawers + Swapped to a Late Model Seat with Anchor Points.

The Suspension will be swapped to ARB Old Man Emu as the current EFS Setup is great for Lift / Height, however the springs are way too short, which leads to a really poor shackle angle, and then as a result of that a really harsh ride.

In the future I plan to swap the bumpers for genuine chrome bumpers, Tidy up a few little paint/body items, but generally I hope it stays much the same and retains the character it currently has from all its adventures and have some adventures of my own.
